Decorating the Cake!
Audrey wanted to decorate the cake Mama made for her little sister. She did a great job!
Elliot turns ONE!!
I can't believe my baby is ONE! We celebrated yesterday with a small family party. Mama made some yummy cupcakes and a cake that Audrey decorated. Elliot enjoyed digging into her cupcake unlike her big sister who HATED having cake all over her when she turned one.

Preparing for Audrey's 5th Birthday!!!
Yes, it's still 2 month away...but already I feel SO far behind. This party will be epic. EPIC I tell you. I don't know when I decided it but at some point I decided that 5 was a big deal. I love Birthdays. LOVE THEM! Maybe I am setting my children up for severe disappointment later in life but I don't care. For one day a year they get to be the center of the universe (as if they aren't the center of MY universe every other day of the year).
So...back to Audrey's party. We have decided on a theme. At first she said princess, though that didn't last long (thank god!) Then she moved on to a jungle/safari them. I was a little more on board for this one, mainly because I had a great hat I have been waiting for the right occasion for. Finally we settled on a CIRCUS theme. This idea first came from Mama but Audrey quickly took it and ran with it. She was running around the room shouting all kinds of ideas.
Doing a quick search I have found several things that caught my eye. Here are a couple of my favorites:
Gorilla, Lion and Tiger standees
This blog had the best Circus party ideas. OH how I wish Audrey's Birthday was just a month later. May weather is so fickle...you never know what you are going to get
Oriental Trading Co. had some super cute supplies
I can't wait for this party!!
