It's true. We are leaving behind our much loved home within the city limits to try out "country" living. This is something I have long wanted to do. We will be renting out our house for the next year, just in case we find that we have made a huge mistake and want to come back. We are not moving far, about 40 miles north of where we are now - a more rural part of Ohio. The school district is ranked the highest ranking a school can get, so that is a huge advantage. We will have roughly 15 acres to play in/on/around. I have big plans for gardens and chickens and gathering around the fire pit. Audrey has already decided she is getting a goat. We will see...
We have started packing up the house. Purging and sorting along the way. I have started painting rooms in the new house and ripping up carpet/flooring. So far I have the girls room finished and have moved on to the art room/den space. It's been fun, but exhausting. We plan to be moved by the end of May - right before vacation!

iphone pictures
I understand I am like the last person on earth to get an iphone so these type of pictures are nothing new for most people. However, they are new to me and I think they are great.
Circus Party
I started working on a few things for the party. At first Audrey wanted to dress as the Ringmaster. I had the idea al set in my head for the costume and had even started picking up a few things. Then she decided she didn't want to be the Ringmaster but an acrobat instead. So....back to the drawing board. She has a very specific idea in her head as to what this costume should look like. The problem, she has a hard time communicating what that idea is. She drew me a picture - as as awesome as her pictures are, it didn't really help to clear anything up. Luckily Nunu will be here the 2 weeks leading up to the party so she will be able to help me with the costume.
I thought it would be cute for her to have a little top hat or something festive for a birthday hat instead of the usual cone shaped thing. I started laying around with a little top hat I found at Hobby Lobby by putting some bling on it.

It's a work in progress...
Audrey doesn't just try clothes on...
The other day we were in Jcrew doing little shopping and I was in the dressing room with Audrey so she could try a few things on that she liked. The second she was dressed the following series unfolded:
And that was just the warm up. Here was outfit number 2:
